MY Sourdough Bakehouse
Hi, I’m Michelle Yvette, the heart and hands behind MY Sourdough Bakehouse. It’s truly a joy and an honor to share freshly baked sourdough bread and treats with my local and surrounding community. Every loaf begins with my 100% organic sourdough starter, carefully nurtured with filtered water and local, organic flour from Janie’s Mill. I thoughtfully choose mostly organic ingredients, locally sourced herbs, and proudly avoid GMOs, artificial colors or flavors, and seed oils—so every bite is as wholesome as it is delicious. Sign up for text or email alerts to stay in the loop on Bake Days and upcoming sourdough workshops. I look forward to baking something special for you!

From My Kitchen to Your Table
Each loaf of sourdough and every sourdough baked good is handcrafted in small batches in my home bakery. I thoughtfully source all natural and organic ingredients just as I would for my own family. In accordance with the Illinois Cottage Food Law, these products are made in a home kitchen that is not subject to regular public health inspection. Our home bakery processes common food allergens, including wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. Please review ingredient information carefully and reach out with any allergy questions prior to purchasing. Thank you for supporting local food, small-batch baking, and the beauty of simple ingredients shared from my kitchen to your table. From My Kitchen to Your Table Westchester, IL Cook County #26-251
Refunds, Allergies & Ingredient Sensitivities
Because all items are handmade in small batches and are perishable, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds. Product credit or replacements may be considered only if there is a verified issue with the quality of the product at the time of pickup or delivery. Concerns must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order. Our breads and baked goods are made using carefully selected ingredients and consistent recipes. We are unable to customize ingredients for individual dietary restrictions or sensitivities. Please note that our kitchen handles common allergens including wheat/gluten and may also handle ingredients such as dairy, eggs, nuts, and seeds. While we take great care in preparation, we cannot guarantee that any product is free from allergens. If you have food allergies, sensitivities, or medical dietary restrictions, we recommend that you do not purchase our products and source a more suitable local baker. By placing an order, customers acknowledge and accept these policies. We also have the right to refuse service. Thank you for understanding!

I am open to special orders, as my time allows. Please send an email to michelle@mysourdoughbakehouse. One week preorder time frame is required.

What is the best way to store bread?
You're pre-ordered loaf is baked the day of pickup. Because there are no added preservatives, your loaf can stay fresh on the counter for a few days. If not consumed after a few days, we recommend slicing it and storing in a freezer safe bag for longer storage. You can reheat in the toaster straight from frozen.
Can I freeze my bread?
Yes, you can freeze sourdough bread. I recommend freezing whole and refreshing in the oven when needed. I have a video on FB and Instagram on how to best refresh your loaf. If you have a loaf that is partially eaten, slice and freeze to pull out slices, as needed. Either method, be sure to wrap in freezer safe and approved methods to prevent freezer burn.
Can I freeze my Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls to consume at a future date?
Yes, they can be frozen. Although your cinnamon rolls are baked the day of pickup, they can be removed from the bag they are in. Any combination of your choice... plastic wrap, heavy duty foil and freezer safe zip lock bags will be great to rewrap and store your rolls in the freezer. To Reheat: thaw overnight in fridge and reheat according to package directions.
What if I miss my designated pickup time?
The standard pickup time is typically between 5pm and 7pm on the Bake Day. If you've missed your pickup window or need to adjust the time, please feel free to text me or send me an email with your preferred time, within the time window. If you need to pick up after 7pm, that must be communicated to us. We have a designated cooler, and we can set your bagged items in a cooler, with your name on it. You can pick up before 9pm on the designated Bake Day. Any Items not picked up by 9pm, will be donated. Please note: We do not offer refunds or credits for items not picked up and donated.
